Netflix Unveils Secret Stranger Things Pop-up Experience

Today is a special day for all Stranger Things fans… That’s because Friday 27th May is when season 4 of this phenomenally successful franchise hits Netflix.

To celebrate the release, there have been exciting promotions popping up everywhere, and for the new few days, there will be an amazing, immersive experience open for the public in East London, England.

Stranger Things 4

The pop-up was first revealed when cryptic 80s Stranger Things-influenced posters started appearing across London. Soon, fans were busy trying to crack the hidden code to reveal the location of the pop-up. On Monday evening, what appeared to be a portal into the Upside Down slowly started to open outside recording studio The White Rabbit in London’s Shoreditch.

Now fully open until Sunday evening, the portal leads fans into the Upside Down world of Stranger Things. From the smell, to the unknown flying particles, to the vines, fans will enjoy a multi-sensory immersive experience where actors will guide them through a tunnel into Surfer Boy Pizza.

Once “safely” inside the pizza shop, fans will have the opportunity to take a pic in the photo booth as well as be treated to a limited-edition Demogorgon pizza, created and designed in collaboration with Yard Sale exclusively for the season 4 launch.

This outer-dimensional experience is not to be missed by Stranger Things fans and foodies alike. The experience allows up to four people to enter at a time and operates on a first come, first served basis.

Stranger Things 4

Season 4 of Stranger things is set six months after the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down
