Love Horror all over Silent House

We here at Love Horror are very excited about the brand new quad poster for Silent House. It’s the new horror, based on the Uruguayan film La Casa Muda staring Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene) and released on May 4th.

Take a look at it below.

No its not the terrified face of an Olsen sister that gets us going, or the creepy house in the background it’s this –

Yep that’s right, that’s our quote!

Okay I know its not that clear here, but on a giant tube poster advertising the movie or in cinemas across the country our quote (which is right alongside the horror profesor himself Mr Kim Newman’s) is pretty damn legible and we are immensly happy about it.

In Silent House, Sarah, along with her uncle and father, prepare their long-time family summer home, recently violated by squatters, for sale.
But broken windows and cracks in the plaster are the least of their problems. They soon discover that they’re not alone and there’s more than just mould concealed behind the walls.

Over the course of 85 harrowing minutes, their idyllic isolated retreat is transformed into a site of horror as the family’s past returns to taunt then terrorize them, exposing a hidden and distorted history.

Silent House, a re-imagining of the Uruguayan film La Casa Muda is told in real time in one continuous take, just as Sarah sees – and experiences – it. As you can tell from the quote, we really liked the movie so watch this space for the rest of the words that go with that poster quote – they’ll appear on Love Horror very soon.

In the meantime here’s the trailer:
