Grimm goes Gothic

day_of_the_deadAfter the fantastic weekend everyone had at GRIMMFEST 2013, Grimm are now excited to announce the first of Grimm up Norths Gothic Season plans!

Over the next few months Grimm will be hosting several screenings in association with the BFI Gothic Season. The season will consist of screening the best in Gothic Cinema around the UK in some of its most haunting venues. Grimm up North will organising screenings in Manchester as the Northern Hub of the season, hosting films in amazing Mancunian venues such as John Rylands Library, Ordsall Hall and The Dance House Theater.

Starting the season on the 30th of October at the Dance House Theater in Manchester Grimm will be hosting their ZOMBIE Double bill Halloween party!

Kicking off the night will be George Romero’s DAY OF THE DEAD (1985), the apocalyptic grand final of the seminal Dead Trilogy! Followed by Lucio Fulci’s video nasty ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS (1979). Dessert for the the night will be British Zombie short SAMUEL AND EMILY VS THE WORLD, Directed by Nick Gillespie (Kill List, Sightseers).

The screening is presented in association the BFI Gothic season & The Arrow video club and they expect to see everyone attending in their most horrible Zombie and Halloween fancy dress attire! Get your tickets right Here


Alex Humphrey
