The Boys Season 3 Coming to Blu-Ray and DVD in March

The Boys Season 3

Get ready for more action-packed mayhem as the popular crime comedy series, The Boys, returns for its highly anticipated third season. Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, and Erin Moriarty, the show will be available on Blu-ray™ and DVD starting on March 6th, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Based on the hit comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys takes a satirical and unconventional look at what happens when superheroes abuse their powers, instead of using them for good. In this world, superheroes are treated like celebrities, politicians, and even gods. But when they cross the line, “The Boys,” a group of vigilantes, band together to expose the truth about the corrupt superheroes and their handler, Vought.

Season 3 of The Boys picks up after a year of relative peace. Homelander is subdued, and Butcher is working for the government under the supervision of Hughie. However, when the group learns about a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, they go head-to-head with “The Seven” in a bloody battle that leads them to chase after the legendary first superhero, Soldier Boy.

Speaking to Men’s Health recently, star Karl Urban explained “This season was a lot of fun to play because Butcher decides to take Temp-V and get superpowers himself – and very much turn himself into the thing he’s trying to destroy. That’s how obsessed he is. It was fun to be able to play in that sandbox and take the character into a new direction that way.”

The Blu-ray™ and DVD release of The Boys Season 3 will also include bonus materials like gag reels, deleted and extended scenes, and a making-of featurette. The season has a runtime of approximately 7 hours and 57 minutes on DVD and 8 hours and 3 minutes on Blu-ray™. The show is rated 18 for its intense and mature themes. Don’t miss out on the explosive action of The Boys Season 3, available on Blu-ray™ and DVD on March 6th.
