Get your creep on as Jeepers Creepers: Reborn – the brand-new horror reboot of one of the most iconic horror franchises of the century – is set to strike fear into a new generation. Following its theatrical release this wickedly demonic gorefest from Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky) gets its digital, Blu-ray and DVD release on 10 October 2022. We grabbed Timo for a quick chat about what movie scares him the most.
The Horror Hound festival is a big deal, and now, it’s coming to Louisiana for the very first time – the excitement is immense. The geeks, freaks and die-hard horror fans are coming from far and wide to experience the fear and the fun.
Chase (Imran Adams – Hollyoaks, Ghosts), a lovable geek, is one such fan. He can’t wait to go and has bagged tickets for him and his devoted girlfriend Laine (Sydney Craven – EastEnders, A Christmas Carol), who has even more exciting news she’s waiting to share…
But as the festival approaches, Laine experiences disturbing premonitions involving the town’s terrifying past … and can’t shake the feeling that something evil is coming.

As the festival kicks off and blood-soaked entertainment builds to a frenzy, are Laine and Chase ready to face the legend of the Creeper, in a brand-new horror attraction? Or could Laine’s fears be about to come true – is one of the most wicked demons ever set to wreak havoc, death and devastation on the unsuspecting crowds?
The pair must prepare to fight for their lives as they realise their worst nightmare has come true as Jeepers Creepers is Reborn.
Below Timo Vuorensola the director of Jeepers Creepers: Reborn talks about his favourite horror film:
“The horror I love the most is the one that makes me shit my pants and want to stop watching the film halfway through and just stare at pictures of unicorns and Care Bears before continuing, and no other film quite grasps the same atmosphere as Ridley Scott’s “Alien. I saw it, obviously, way too young and it scarred my mind for good, but no matter how many times I see it, by the time the ship is in self destruct mode and that goddamn cat is gone missing I’m screaming at the screen “Just leave the friggin’ cat and get out of there, it’s coming!!”
No other Alien film after that quite managed to do that, and while there’s been great entries in the series – Aliens and Prometheus are both brilliant in their own ways – it’s always this 1979 scifi-horror masterpiece I consider the best horror film out there.
Luckily, they managed to grasp the same vibe in 2014 video game Alien: Isolation, which I think is really rare. I’ve only played two games that really got that vibe to me – “Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth” and the above mentioned Alien game.”
Jeepers Creepers: Reborn on digital from 10 Oct on DVD and Blu-ray from 24 Oct
