Arrow Video Elevates Home Cinema with September’s Deluxe 4K Slate

Arrow Video has announced an exciting line-up of September releases that span spacefaring escapades, international crime dramas, neon-soaked noir and top-tier horror both classic and contemporary. The studio’s limited-edition 4K and Blu-ray packages promise collectors a wealth of brand-new restorations, sprawling bonus features and distinctive art-house packaging.

Arrow Lost in Space

September kicks off with Lost in Space arriving on Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD on the first of the month. This high-octane adventure thrusts the Robinson family into the uncharted void when their Jupiter 2 mission is sabotaged by the treacherous Dr Smith. Boasting a cast led by William Hurt, Mimi Rogers and Matt LeBlanc, alongside Gary Oldman’s chilling take on the series’ infamous villain, the release is presented in Dolby Vision and Atmos and includes two director commentaries, deleted scenes, bloopers and a lavish collector’s booklet.

Japan’s crime landscape is pierced next with Proof of the Man, available on Limited Edition Blu-ray on 8 September. A landmark blockbuster that reshaped the country’s home-grown cinema, Junya Sato’s film follows American-born Johnny Hayward’s fatal descent into a Tokyo murder probe. Yusaku Matsuda and George Kennedy star in this trenchant exploration of identity and post-war trauma, restored from a new 4K scan and featuring interviews with cast and crew, archival featurettes and English subtitles.

Arrow Deadstream
Horror lovers can brace for Deadstream on Blu-ray from the first week of September. This found-footage comedy-horror sees disgraced influencer Shawn Ruddy livestreaming a solo night in a haunted mansion. Co-writer and star Joseph Winter navigates sinister spirits, savage gore and satirical swipes at social media obsession. Arrow’s disc is packed with extended cuts, outtakes, short films by the Winters and newly shot introductions just for this release.

October’s Paul Schrader revival comes early with American Gigolo on Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD on 8 September. Richard Gere delivers a career-defining performance as the eponymous escort framed for murder, set against a backdrop of Giorgio Armani wardrobe splendour and a Giorgio Moroder score featuring Blondie’s legendary “Call Me.” The package is sealed with postcard artcards, a reversible sleeve and a collector’s booklet. For the ultimate treat, an Arrow Store exclusive edition boasts alternative cover art.

Arrow The Woods

Folk horror emerges in The Woods, released on Limited Edition Blu-ray from 15 September. Director Lucky McKee builds on his May predecessor to weave a tale of occult dread and female empowerment in a repressive boarding school. Agnes Bruckner and Patricia Clarkson head a cast that unearths a nightmare pulsating with unsettling atmosphere. The disc includes a new audio commentary, rare behind-the-scenes footage and a wealth of interviews.

Finally, legends of terror Stephen King and George Romero return with Creepshow 2 on Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD on 29 September. Three macabre tales of looted hardware stores, carnivorous rafts and murderous hitchhikers are restored from the original negatives and accompanied by director’s commentary, interviews with Romero and Tom Savini and an exclusive booklet with unfilmed segments adapted into comic form.

Creepshow 2

Arrow Video’s September roll-out offers something for every genre geek, from cosmic odysseys to grisly urban fables. Each release is tailored with artful extras and deluxe packaging designed for passionate collectors who demand both fidelity and flair.
