‘A Halloween Feast’ Brings Ghoulish Delights to Los Angeles

This weekend, horror fans in Los Angeles are in for a treat as A Halloween Feast begins its theatrical run at the Lumiere Music Hall, starting tonight, August 9th. Directed by Guile Branco, in his feature film directorial debut, the movie promises a darkly comedic twist on the traditional family dinner—one that spirals into utter madness.
The Crazies and Shivers star Lynn Lowry leads the cast in this gruesome horror-comedy, where she plays Angela Long, a former dancer whose descent into madness sets the stage for a nightmarish Halloween dinner. As Angela’s grip on reality slips, her family’s attempts to manage the situation only make things worse, unraveling their lives in bizarre and blood-soaked ways. The film’s climax, a Halloween night feast, pulls out all the stops, featuring twisted power dynamics, unsettling revelations, and even a potential appearance by a dinosaur, all adding to the chaos of the evening.
Branco, known for his roles in Cowboy’s Heart and Sistema Bruto, co-wrote the script with Arthur McClen, blending horror and comedy to create a film that is as funny as it is frightening. The film not only showcases Branco’s skills behind the camera but also marks his entry into the genre with a bold and unconventional vision.

Joining Lowry in the cast are Julia Coulter, Lou D’Amato, Asia Lynn Pitts, Pancho Moler, and Branco himself, all contributing to a film that aims to shock, entertain, and keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Breaking Glass Pictures, the distributor behind A Halloween Feast, is renowned for championing independent cinema that dares to be different. With a reputation for bringing diverse and thought-provoking films to audiences around the globe, the company continues to support filmmakers who push the boundaries of traditional storytelling.
For those eager to experience this wickedly entertaining film on the big screen, tickets are now available for purchase through the Lumiere Music Hall’s website. A Halloween Feast will also be available On Digital and On Demand starting September 10th, ensuring that fans of horror-comedy can enjoy the film wherever they are.
