Slasher Flick ‘Pandemic Sex Party’ Promises Grindhouse Terror

Production is now underway on Pandemic Sex Party, a new horror film that promises to blend intense slasher elements with a unique narrative backdrop. Announced by writer and director Myles Erfurth, the movie is set against the theme of an ill-fated gathering during a global health crisis, introducing a nightmarish twist that goes beyond conventional horror tropes.
The project is spearheaded by veteran producer Andy Gould, known for his work on Rob Zombie’s iconic films such as House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects. Gould was immediately captivated by the script, particularly the menacing new villain known as The Rancher. “When I first read Myles Erfurth’s screenplay, I was hooked by its original mix of twisted horror and great characters. The Rancher is a blood-chilling character ready to join the ranks of classic horror villains,” Gould shared.

Set in a near-future where AI dominates the job market, the story revolves around Sasha, a young video game streamer. Along with her friends, all of whom are social media influencers, Sasha ventures into the desert to create new content. However, their retreat quickly spirals into a nightmare when they encounter The Rancher, a masked maniac with a deep-seated grudge against the digital age and its icons.
Pandemic Sex Party aims to revive the raw, unfiltered spirit of grindhouse cinema, according to Erfurth. His previous work includes the innovative live-stream horror film The Silver Stream, and he brings a seasoned eye for suspense and visceral storytelling to this new venture. “Our film is an homage to the glory days of exploitation films. It’s designed to be a gritty, grindhouse-style experience that doesn’t hold back on intensity,” said Erfurth.

The film also opens a unique opportunity for fans to get involved through an Indiegogo campaign, offering perks ranging from exclusive memorabilia to co-producer credits and even walk-on roles.
With a trailer already hinting at the terror to come, the film is set to make its chilling debut in the horror scene, promising a blend of scares, shocks, and critical commentary on the digital era’s cultural landscape. Fans eager for a fresh and fierce take on the horror genre should check out this film which vows to be anything but conventional.
