The Siege 2023

The Siege is a new action-packed movie that promises to deliver bone-crunching, slam-bang action. If you are a fan of films like Avengement and The Raid, then this is the movie you don’t want to miss. The film stars Daniel Stisen (former Norwegian bodybuilder, and winner of numerous powerlifting and bodybuilding contests), a formidable new action hero who plays the role of Walker, an international assassin who finds himself compromised during a mission. His handler sends him to a Reassignment Centre, where he will be processed for a new identity.

But things take a turn for the worse when a ruthless assault team storms the compound, searching for someone their boss has lost. Walker falls in with Elda, a skilled hitwoman, and Juliet, her mysterious ward, in order to maximize the chance of survival.

Directed by Brad Watson, who also directed Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop, The Siege promises to be an action-packed movie with heavy weaponry, bare-knuckle brawls, and fights to the death. The film also stars Byron Gibson, an action veteran who starred in Rise of the Footsoldier 4, and Brit tough guy Phillip Ray Tommy, who appeared in Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Nicole Bartlett, who is known for her role in The Bezonians, makes her screenwriting debut with The Siege. The movie promises to be like Assault on Precinct 13, but with more muscle and a higher body count.

Speaking to site MovieWeb, Stisen talked about how he hoped the audience would receive the film:
“I hope that hat they really enjoy it. Going into acting, I said to myself, ‘Let’s make some good entertainment. It doesn’t have to be too serious. A lot of other people make serious stuff. I don’t need to do that.’ I want to make something I would love to watch when I was a teenager. So, I want to make entertaining action that’s fun for people to watch. Something where you can just have a good time.”

If you are a fan of fast, furious, and fight-filled movies, then The Siege is guaranteed to be a good time. So get ready for the bone-crunching, slam-bang action that only Daniel Stisen and The Siege can deliver.

The Siege is released on digital platforms including Google, Apple, Sky, Amazon, Rakuten and Virgin from 20th March.
