Venom 3 Enters Pre-Production

Venom 3 Tom Hardy

Exciting news for Venom fans as the third installment of the popular superhero franchise has officially entered pre-production. The news was confirmed by Joblo, which reported that Sony Pictures has greenlit the Venom 3 project and that the movie is set to be directed by Andy Serkis.

Tom Hardy, who plays the lead character of Eddie Brock/Venom, will be returning for the third movie. The actor has reportedly been heavily involved in the pre-production process, collaborating closely with Serkis to develop the story and characters.

The plot of Venom 3 is still shrouded in secrecy, but fans have been speculating about potential storylines. Given the ending of the second movie, which saw Brock and Venom going on the run after being framed for a series of murders, it’s possible that the third film could see the duo attempting to clear their names while facing off against new threats.

There’s also been speculation about potential crossovers with other Marvel characters, especially since Venom exists within the same universe as Spider-Man. However, there’s been no official confirmation of any crossovers at this point.

One thing that is clear is that the third movie will continue to explore the dynamic between Brock and Venom. Hardy has previously spoken about the importance of that relationship, saying that “the heart of the story is still the relationship between Eddie and Venom. These two characters are so closely intertwined, they’re almost like a hybrid.”

With Serkis at the helm, fans can expect the third Venom movie to have a darker and more intense tone. The actor-turned-director has a reputation for his motion capture performances, having played iconic characters like Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and Caesar in the Planet of the Apes franchise.

While no release date has been announced yet, fans can rest assured that Venom 3 is officially in the works and that it’s only a matter of time before they’ll be able to see their favorite anti-hero back in action.
