Shudder Unveils New Lineup of Thrilling Originals and Exclusive Films

Shudder, the horror streaming service, has announced a slew of new releases coming this March. Among the releases are three Shudder Originals, Spoonful of Sugar, Leave and The Unheard.

Spoonful of Sugar, premiering on Thursday 2 March, follows Millicent, a student who is taking a break from school to work on her thesis about children with severe allergies. Millicent is tasked with caring for Johnny, a mute child with a wide range of allergies, while his mother, Rebecca, is busy promoting her new book, and his father, Jacob, works outside on a carpentry project. Starring Morgan Saylor, Kat Foster, and Myko Olivier, this original promises to be a suspenseful and thrilling watch.

Leave, premiering on Friday 17 March, tells the story of Hunter White, a young woman who was abandoned as an infant in a cemetery with satanic symbols around her. Twenty years later, she is still searching for her true identity and the reason for her abandonment. The film stars Alicia von Rittberg, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Herman Tømmeraas, Stig Amdam, and Morten Holst.

The Unheard, premiering on Friday 31 March, features a deaf woman who undergoes experimental treatment to regain her hearing. However, during her recovery, she begins to experience auditory hallucinations and uncovers dark family secrets. Starring Lachlan Watson, Nick Sandow, and Brendan Meyer, “The Unheard” promises to be a thrilling watch.

In addition to the Shudder Originals, Shudder will also add several movies to its library in March, including Honeydew on 6 March, She Dies Tomorrow on 9 March, Holidays, Willy’s Wonderland, and Wrong Turn on 13 March, Blood Harvest on 20 March, and Witch Hunt on 27 March.
