Scream VI Character Posters Released
13 new character posters have been published today to support the much-anticipated release of Scream VI. The posters showcase the cast, including Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jack Champion, Mason Gooding, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Jenna Ortega, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, Samara Weaving, Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox.
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have announced that Scream VI will take a distinctive turn from its previous installments. Fans should prepare for a more intense and “visceral” experience in this upcoming horror film.
The sixth film in the Scream franchise, and the sequel to 2022’s Scream semi-reboot, released a new trailer on January 19th, ahead of its March 10th theater debut. The teaser revealed that Tara (Jenna Ortega) and Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) would face off against the masked serial killer Ghostface once again, this time in New York City instead of the fictional town of Woodsboro.
Bettinelli-Olpin revealed that Scream VI would take place shortly after the events of Scream 5, where the characters would deal with the aftermath of the Woodsboro massacre. The film will follow the characters to New York, where everything goes haywire when Ghostface enters the picture.
Returning to their roles in the franchise are Melissa Barrera as “Sam Carpenter,” Jasmin Savoy Brown as “Mindy Meeks-Martin,” Mason Gooding as “Chad Meeks-Martin,” Jenna Ortega as “Tara Carpenter,” Hayden Panettiere as “Kirby Reed,” and Courteney Cox as “Gale Weathers.”
These awesome posters also feature some of the other key cast members including, Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
