If you enjoyed dipping your toes back into the terrifying horror legacy that was Halloween (2018), you are no doubt hungry for this year’s release – Halloween Kills.

Halloween Kills 2021Just when you thought that Michael Myers was dead for good (well, you didn’t really, but…) the trailer for Halloween Kills has hit our screens and gives a bounty of sumptuous glimpses into what we can look forward to this Autumn.

In the last film, Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement. Suffering as a result of their spectacular finale, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries… But through the pain she feels relief that she has finally killed her lifelong tormentor.

But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.

The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.

The 2018 release was the highest grossing of the franchise and Universal will be hoping for similar levels of success with their latest chapter in this legendary series.
