Official trailer for ARROW’s delightfully haunting debut A GHOST WAITS featuring Love Horror

On 1st February 2021, ARROW (formerly Arrow Video Channel) presents the exclusive premiere of the charming, funny and frightening spectral romcom, A GHOST WAITS, the debut feature from co-writer/director/producer Adam Stovall ahead of a premium Blu-ray and Digital HD release in May 2021. And who is that quoted in the brand new trailer?

A GHOST WAITS features tremendous lead performances from MacLeod Andrews (Doctor Sleep, They Look Like People) and Natalie Walker (TV’s Search Party) as an unlikely couple, in this wonderfully charming and loveable cross between Ghost and indie hit In Search of a Midnight Kiss. Effortlessly blending slacker comedy with Beetlejuice hi-jinks, the film is, as Eye For Film says, “a pleasure from start to finish and a wonderful example of what’s possible on a small budget with just a little imagination.”

With black and white photography recalling early Jarmusch comedies, a quirky toe-tapping rock soundtrack, some genuine laugh out loud dialogue – including Andrews telling the ghost to “knock it the f**k off, some of us have work to do!”, and a few spine-tingling moments from spectral agent Walker, A GHOST WAITS is an irresistible indie gem to be cherished, and announces the arrival of an exciting and original talent with Adam Stovall.

Synopsis: Jack’s job is to fix up rental properties to make way for new tenants, but one property keeps winding up empty. Tasked with discovering why and fixing the issue, Jack meets Muriel…a ghost. Muriel’s job is to haunt the home and keep it vacant. They should be enemies but find they have a great deal in common…pulse notwithstanding. Having found a kindred spirit in an otherwise lonely existence, Jack and Muriel must fight for their newfound affection as pressure mounts for them each to fulfill their “cross-purposes”. A genre blending story with heart, humour, a little fear, and big questions.
