We are more than halfway through this years fantastic fear filled film fest and FrightFest 2010 has already delivered some stand out movies sure to be causing a stir in cinema’s and home’s across the country when they are released to the nation of horror fans in the coming months.

Day 4 – The earth wants blood in The Pack and we see the scare stars of tomorrow in the Film4 International Short Film Showcase. Cannibals in We Are What We Are and is Dammed by Dawn the new Evil Dead plus exclusive first look at Buried and The Loved Ones.

Day 5 – Demented documentary Video Nasties: Moral Panic, Censorship and Videotape. The Ford Brothers bring us The Dead and South Korean chills in Bedevilled. Red, White and Blue is more red than anything else and the festivals closing move The Last Exorcism.


Alex Humphrey

Alex studied film at the University of Kent and went on to work for Universal Pictures in their Post Room gaining an inside look at the movie industry from the very bottom. Constantly writing reviews in everything from local magazines to Hip Hop sites Alex honed his critical skills even spending a brief period as a restaurant critic. Read more
