Pilot Light TV Festival to celebrate cult TV show Eerie Indiana on the big screen for the first time ever in the UK

Manchester TV Festival presents a special out of festival event celebrating Eerie Indiana along with on-screen Q&As with its co-creator & star.

Following on from their hugely successful third edition (or season), Pilot Light TV Festival present their first major out of festival event for Season 4, an extremely rare chance to catch a cult TV classic on the big screen at Gorilla. On August 11th, Pilot Light invite you back to 1991 to re-experience EERIE INDIANA with an exclusive retrospective.

Created by Oscar nominated writer Jose Rivera with Mark Shaefer and directed by Joe Dante (Gremlins); Eerie Indiana follows Marshall Teller, a teenager from New Jersey who has just moved to the town of the same name as he investigates the weirdness lurking under the facade of a totally normal suburban town. Regularly billed as the ‘Twin Peaks of Family TV’, Eerie Indiana was filled with Twilight Zone-esque mysteries that it’s protagonists investigate week by week, essentially being a version of the X-Files, before Mulder & Scully were even thought of; whilst also offing up shades of influence to the DNA of current Netflix hit, Stranger Things.

Pilot Light invite audiences to join them at Gorilla for very special selection of episodes from the first series screened officially for the first time in the UK, plus two exclusive live Skype Q&A’s with the show’s Oscar nominated creator Jose Rivera, and actor Justin Shenkarow.

Pilot Light TV Fest’s Eerie Indiana Retrospective takes place 11th August 2018 at Gorilla, Manchester. All tickets are on sale now via Gorilla and Seetickets. https://www.seetickets.com/event/eerie-indiana/gorilla/1247871
