111Grimmfest 2016 will be bigger and better than ever and they have an amazing guest list lined up for Q&A’s in physical and virtual form to wow the ammased horror crowds. Over to Grimm to tell you more…

imgres“On THURSDAY, we’re joined, all the way from America, by Director Cory Asraf, who’ll be on hand to talk about his noirish melange of Marilyn Manson and Methaphysics, LET ME MAKE YOU A MARTYR, and we’ve a hard look at relationships with BROKEN Director Shaun Robert Smith and Producer / Actor Craig Conway. On FRIDAY, we’ll be celebrating the city’s considerable local talent, with Writer / Director Matt Johns, Producer Chris Lane, and Lead Actor Garth Maunders, and their acclaimed short, A FATHER’S DAY. On SATURDAY, Director Ben Parker, Producer Jen Handorf, and Lead Actress Charlotte Salt, will be joining us for their masterclass in the art of claustrophobia, THE CHAMBER, plus we’ve more sulphurous shorts from local talent, featuring the premiere of the sour revenge drama NSFW, with director Cosmo Wallace, and Cast and Crew To Be Announced, and DEARLY BELOVED, with Director Corey Kelly, and Produced by our very own John Davison. SUNDAY sees the world premiere of the shocking, startling, wildly unpredictable TONIGHT SHE COMES, and we are delighted to be welcoming Director Matt Stuertz, all the way from the USA, to introduce and talk about the film, and we’ve the regional premiere of THE REZORT, with Director Steve Barker, Writer Paul Gerstenberger, and Cast Members TBC all on hand to offer some suitably horrific holiday tips.

PLUS, we will also have more than a few… “virtual guests”. For the first time, this year we’ll have a whole host of specially-recorded Video intros from those directors and stars of our movies, who for one reason or another couldn’t make it along in person, but still wanted to be there in… spirit.

On FRIDAY, we’ll be joined, on film, by Director and SFX Maestro Geoff Rednapp, for his downbeat and disquieting drama THE UNSEEN, Director Bo Mikkelsen (TBC), for the claustrophobic urban nightmare WHAT WE BECOME, and Director Adam Rifkin and Writer / Star / Master of the Magicianly Arts, Penn Jillette, with their scabrously satiric shocker, DIRECTOR’S CUT. On SATURDAY, we’ve prerecorded words of wisdom from Joseph Sims-Bennett, Director of paranoid and voyeuristic psychological thriller OBSERVANCE; Director Carles Torrens and Star Dominic Monaghan with some startling and confrontational relationship advice in the queasy PET, and some good old-fashioned Southern hospitality from TRASH FIRE Writer / Director Richard Bates, Jr. On SUNDAY, Director Jackson Stewart and Actor Graham Skipper will be inviting us to embark on a journey BEYOND THE GATES, and Actor, Producer, and Living Legend, Ken Foree will be giving the lowdown on his latest feature, THE RIFT.

In short, we’ve a veritable horde of movers and shakers, bone-quakers and monster-makers who’ll be making their presence felt, one way or another, at this year’s Grimmfest. And we haven’t finished summoning them all yet.”
