Unrestricted View Horror Film Festival

As the summer days grow shorter, we have something to look forward to after the warmth has gone – horror festival season.
And this year, autumn will see a new event in the form of the Unrestricted View Horror Film Festival.

This frightful fest will be held at Unresticted View Horror FestivalThe Hen & Chickens Theatre, an independent cinema in Islington, North London. The pub below will be used as a networking and meeting place making it a great place to connect with likeminded horror folk.

The festival will be screening a bunch of films, shorts and web episodes between Halloween (31st October) to Bonfire Night (5th November). And the Unrestricted View organisers will also be handing out a number of awards and prizes to worthy features. There will even be industry workshops and networking events taking place over the duration of the festival, so there’s something for everyone.

The festival is run by filmmakers and aims to celebrate the very best in indie and encourage all aspects of independent horror film making.

If you’re a film producer Unresticted View are welcoming submissions right now.

If your film is lucky enough to be selected, not only will you have the honour of seeing your work on the big screen, but you could be in line for one of the awards.

You do have to pay to submit your film (unless you’re based in Islington – contact [email protected] for a waiver code if this is the case). But the organisers have kindly given Love Horror readers a 20% discount to be used by anyone wanting to put a film forward. Be sure to include the promo code LOVEHORROR20 to take advantage of this offer.

There is little that gets between Gremlin and a good news story. Except perhaps a late night snack followed by a dip in the pool.
