A few weeks back we reported on a unique opportunity for fans to meet Freddy in the rotting flesh one final time at the Fashback Weekend Event, Chicago.
Well, if you had planned to take part in this momentous occasion, I’m afraid you missed it. But the US TV channel FOX32 did manage to catch up with Robert Englund to talk about his last appearance as Freddy.
It’s an interesting chat that will pull on the heart strings of any eighties horror fan. Check out the video below.

Goodnight Freddy and sweet dreams. No amount of rebooting will ever replace your original creepy self!
I am very sad about this as I feel it’s an important part of my childhood that’s going away with him.
Will have to watch A Nightmare on Elm St tonight to feel better!
