Following the tragic death of her daughter, Miyabi’s life falls apart. She divorces her husband, becomes a call girl, and moves in with a new boyfriend. But it’s an encounter with a new client that changes everything. The man requests to photograph her body—first her spine, then her feet. With each session, the photographs grow increasingly invasive, and soon, every time they meet, he demands to capture more.
It isn’t until one night, alone at home, that Miyabi feels something she can’t ignore—a small hand brushing against her leg. She realizes that with every photograph, her daughter’s spirit draws closer, reaching out from beyond the grave.

The short film spin-off Neu Mirrors
Neu Mirrors picks up directly after a pivotal scene from New Religion, diving deeper into the haunting mystery. Aizawa awakens in an unfamiliar hotel room. A voice speaks to him through his earphones, and he notices a man in a white shirt standing nearby. At his feet lies a photo album, filled with the faces of strangers… and his own face among them.
As the pages turn, Aizawa’s reality begins to disintegrate, plunging him into a nightmare where the boundaries of the real and the surreal are blurred beyond recognition.
