Holly Marie

Based in Cambridge, Holly Marie is a 33-year-old film enthusiast with a serious passion for horror, sparked at a young age when she would sneakily borrow her older sister’s horror VHS tapes. Whilst she has a soft spot for 90s slashers, paranormal stories and the gothic, Holly is equally interested in exploring what makes horror endure and resonate across generations; particularly, how the genre continues to evolve to reflect society’s deepest fears and anxieties. Away from the screen, Holly leads an active life as a runner and all-round outdoor enthusiast. She’s also a singer in a covers band, enjoys knitting and cross stitching, and loves nothing more than trying a good craft beer in between working at her favourite local bar.
