‘Slashercise’ Kicks Off BloodStream’s Packed July Horror Line-up
Independent horror streaming platform BloodStream is kicking off July with the exclusive debut of Slashercise, the retro-inspired slasher from writer-director Ama Lea, as part of a month-long schedule that spans cult favourites, creature features, anthology horror and deep-cut exploitation cinema.
Available exclusively from 1 July, Slashercise headlines a busy slate that also launches Camp BloodStream, a curated collection of woodland terrors, campground slashers and cryptid encounters. The opening day alone includes titles such as Camp Killer, The Redwood Massacre, Harvest Lake, Something In the Woods and The Forest Hills, setting the tone for a programme built around daily themed additions.
Rather than releasing films in weekly batches, BloodStream has organised its July calendar into themed collections that change every day. The month moves from extraterrestrial cinema for International UFO Day on 2 July to a festive horror selection for Christmas in July, before turning its attention to witches, zombies, haunted houses, giallo classics and creature features throughout the remainder of the month.
Among the month’s featured additions is the tongue-in-cheek Amityville What? collection on 6 July, bringing together some of the more unusual entries connected to horror’s ever-expanding Amityville brand, including Amityville Emanuelle, Amityville Chupacabra and Amityville Cop.
BloodStream also shines a spotlight on filmmaker Ellie Church with a dedicated collection on 8 July featuring Headless, Gush, The Bad Man and other titles from her career, while anthology fans will find a new curated section arriving on 18 July featuring Monsterland 2, Night Terrors, The Witching, Cryptids and The Telling.

Elsewhere, July includes exploitation favourites including Mario Bava’s A Bay of Blood, a documentary examining the career of Italian filmmaker Tinto Brass, horror fantasy selections, Japanese animation, Gothic horror and family-friendly fantasy films, alongside new catalogue additions arriving every day of the month.
BloodStream continues to position itself as a streaming destination dedicated entirely to horror, thriller and science fiction, combining cult favourites with independent releases and international genre cinema through curated collections designed specifically for horror audiences. The service offers tiers of membership from free with ads to paid, early access account that give subscribers access to the ‘Now in Theaters’ category, free events and Q&A screening, extra materials and other perks.
BloodStream’s July programme begins on 1 July with the exclusive streaming debut of Slashercise, followed by daily themed releases throughout the month.
