Presented by Grimm Up North as part of the BFI's 'Day's of Fear and Wonder' Sci-fi season, this all day marathon is dedicated to the prolific creator's and masters of British science fiction puppetry Gerry & Sylvia Anderson! THIS IS SUPERMARIONATION MARATHON event as part of the BFI's Sci-fi season on November 23rd at Gorilla, Manchester featuring classics from the Anderson's such as THUNDERBIRDS, CAPTAIN SCARLET, STINGRAY and more on the big screen. Grimm said "Our 'THIS IS SUPERMARIONATION' marathon is a very special programme featuring classic episodes of THUNDERBIRDS, STINGRAY, CAPTAIN SCARLETT, FIREBALL XL-5 and many more in painstakingly restored high definition with the original classic adverts from ITV included all presented by Lady Penelope & Parker; plus the mancunian premiere of the new critically acclaimed documentary 'FILMED IN SUPERMARIONATION' which is about the iconic and world-leading puppetry and animation techniques devised by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and their team of puppeteers in a Slough warehouse in the 1960s.
