And now for something slightly different. The Nightjar is an exciting new audio game, which aims to absorb and terrify those playing by sound alone... Intrigued? Thought you would be. Available now to download onto iPhone iPod Touch and the iPad, Benedict Cumberbatch (of Sherlock Holmes and Warhorse fame) is the man, or voice to take you on this terrifying adventure. As the player you are a lone passenger stuck on The Nightjar, a lone spaceship orbiting a black hole - the Dog Star. Your crew have abandoned you and all you have is the voice of the captain of another vessell (Cumberbatch) to keep you company. It's an excellent new concept, and the game uses 3D binaural sound to really immerse the listener and amp up the fear. Check out the Nightjar trailer for more details:
