So we were doing our usual thing of scouring the web in search of new horror and we came across the trailer for an interesting new picure titled Grave Encounters. It's the tale of a ghost hunting reality TV show, similar to those on satellite TV (Most Haunted, Ghost Hunters etc). The team pay a visit to a reputedly haunted derelict hospital in the hope of finding proof of paranormal activity. But after locking themselves in to the place and calling out any ghosts that might be there, things start to get terrifying as it becomes obvious that there is definitely something unexplained and menacing locked in with them. Yes, it's another docu-horror in a similar vein to The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity but from our initial glimpse of Grave Encounters, it does seem to offer some unique elements and best of all, seems to be a high quality production. Grave Encounters has already received praise from festivals and cinema audiences alike. And since its successful limited release in Italy, the producers are now looking to secure UK distribution.
