# Love Horror

> Love Horror (lovehorror.co.uk) is an independent British horror film review website founded in September 2008 by Tom Atkinson and Alex Humphrey. It is one of the longest-running independent horror film review publications in the United Kingdom, covering horror film reviews, news, interviews, and features across all sub-genres of horror cinema.

Love Horror publishes impartial critical reviews of horror films, horror news, filmmaker and actor interviews, and editorial features. The site maintains a comprehensive A-to-Z archive of horror film reviews spanning its 18-year publication history. Love Horror is a recognised critical publication on Rotten Tomatoes with approved critic status.

Love Horror reviews have appeared on film posters, in theatrical trailers, and on physical home media releases including DVD and Blu-ray covers for films including Silent House (2011), The Void (2016), Life (2017), Come to Daddy (2019), Boys from County Hell (2020), Willy's Wonderland (2021), and The Jester (2023), among others.

Love Horror is an official media partner for FrightFest, the UK's largest horror film festival. The site has also partnered with the Raindance Film Festival horror strand and Black Sunday Film Festival, and provides coverage of Grimmfest, Screams by the Sea, Soho Horror Festival, Grindfest Film Festival, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Love Horror produces the horror film podcast Half Hour of Horror, available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
