1. Tell us about your film?
It’s a film where a bunch of friends find out what it really means to play a game called Game Of Death. Kill or be killed is the only way out. Think Jumanji meets Battle Royale.
It’s also a film we had lots of fun doing and I think you can feel it watching it.
2. How did you get into making horror movies?
We did a short movie called Caged (La Chienne in French) in 2013. We wanted to try something new so we decided to do a horror/gore movie. We just like to experiment I guess. The short won some prizes in different festival and a production company called Rock Ze Line asked us if we had a bigger project in the same vein … horror/gore for a young audience. That became Game Of Death.
3. What film would you love to see screened at FrightFest and why?
I’d loved to see Mayhem. I didnt had the chance to see it at Fantasia (where I live) and i’ve heard a lot of good stuff about this movie.
4. If you could create your own award to give at the FrightFest, what would it be and why?
The Manatee award given to the most lovable, tender and friendly movie of the festival. Because we love manatees they are lovable, tender and friendly creature.
5. If your life was made into a horror film, what would it be called and who would play the starring role?
Destiny’s child – The return of the Omen?I’d love Daniel Radcliffe to play my role.
