Phoebe Fox Terrified of Angel of Death
Phoebe Fox was terrified during much of her time on the set of The Woman in Black: Angel of Death, she has revealed.
In a recent interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Fox explained that her fellow cast and crew members took advantage of her skittish nature and played lots of pranks on her.
Talking about her co-star Jeremy Irvine, she said “Jeremy and the director abused the fact that I scare very easily so I had a lot of people jumping out at me from cupboards and around corners. So the whole shoot was quite traumatic for me.”
She was also required to face one of her greatest fears, water, during the shoot. She found shooting in a floatation tank for long period very hard work.
The Woman in Black: Angel of Death has big boots to fill after the huge success of the first film, starring Daniel Radcliffe. The tale follows on from the first as two teachers evacuate a group of schoolchildren to the abandoned Eel Marsh House. Seeking safety from the bombs in the remote coastal location, the group instead find themselves facing an evil far more frightening when their arrival awakens the Woman in Black.
The Woman in Black: Angel of Death is in cinemas now.
