Oculus Trailer and Images Released

Oculus is already causing a stir on the other side of the Atlantic.

It has so far proved very popular Oculus 2014 posterwith American audiences, with box office sales placing it in the top three films stateside at the time of writing.

The film, produced by Jason Blum (also a producer for The Purge, Insidious and Paranormal Activity) revolves around the Russell family, who are still recovering from a family tragedy where one of the teenage siblings Tim, was convicted of the brutal murder of their parents.

Older, after doing some time, Tim is released from protective custody and wants to move on with his life. However, his sister Kaylie is uderstandable still troubled by past events and, is convinced her parents’ deaths were caused by something else altogether. Something supernatural, evil and connected to the Lasser Glass, an antique mirror in their childhood home.

Kaylie tracks down the mirror, hoping to be able to prove her brother’s innocent, but when she does she discovers that similar deaths have befallen previous owners over the past century. Is this mirror really to blame? And what horrors lie in store for them now that they are back in its reflection once more?

The film stars Karen Gillan (Dr Who), Katee Sackhoff (Battle Star Galactica), Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent) and is scheduled for a cinematic release here in the UK on 13th June.
