Buried Competition

Since reporting on Buried at the 2010 Frightfest, Zombie 2 has undoubtedly felt its long lasting influence on his life. No longer will he use the WC without leaving the door open, or get cleaning products from the broom cupboard when instructed to do so.

There’s no denying that this movie really manages to capture the horrible concept that is ‘premature burial’, perhaps better than any film before it.

Ryan Reynolds puts in a fantastic solo performance in this tensely claustrophobic film. Buried with only his mobile phone and a cigarette lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited.

As his phone battery and oxygen run out, his confined race against time grows increasingly frantic. Fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued.

Well, if that sounds like your kind of thing, why not have a go at winning a copy on DVD in our latest, fabulous Love Horror competition.
