Secret Cinema Presents… 28 Days Later

The immersive cinematic experience that is secret cinema is set to shock and thrill UK horror fans with their latest project, Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later.

Fabien Riggall, Founder and Creative Director secret cinema 28 days laterof Secret Cinema says: “Secret Cinema is excited to step into the world of horror with Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later, a true British horror classic – we look forward to creating a suitably frightening and exhilarating experience. Secret Cinema’s expansion over the last nine years has been remarkable – we’ve now created experiences in New York and Berlin, as well as the many in London. But this will be a turning point for us as we embark upon our very first UK nationwide production.”

It’s the first time that the British Events company has dared to screen a horror film and it’s also their first nationwide launch.

And what makes Secret Cinema so special is their fully interactive experience, something that will guarantee a apocalyptic night to remember this time round. This will be a ‘must do’ for any zombie fan.

Starring Cillian Murphy as Jim, who awakes from a coma to a find a deadly virus has all but obliterated humanity and society now overrun by hordes of the “infected”, 28 Days Later created a new breed of zombie (‘the infected’) – and reinvigorated the genre for the next generation of horror fans.

Screenwriter Andrew Garland says: “Secret Cinema never fails to amaze with their experiences, and it’s exciting to see them tackle their first ever horror. London prepare.”

Previous screenings include Back to the Future in a full size recreation of Hill Valley and a charity screening of Dead Poet’s Society shortly after Robin Williams’ death.

Secret Cinema Presents 28 Days Later runs from 14th April 2016 to 29th May 2016.
