Could you last 400 Days

1The deep space delirium of Moon meets the tension of Alien in 400 Days, a terrifying, high-concept, psychological sci-fi thriller featuring a killer ensemble cast including Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Dane Cook (Mr. Brooks), Ed Kavanagh (The Flash) and Caity Lotz (The Pact).

In preparation for a journey into deep space, a group of four astronauts spend 400 days in an incredibly realistic space capsule simulator, only to discover that their mission might be realer – and far more dangerous – than they imagined.

Despite tensions amongst the crew, the mission initially goes as planned, with the crew focusing on their daily duties. When the capsule starts shaking uncontrollably and they start losing power, they think it is all part of the simulation. But when they can’t get a hold of mission control, genuine fear and suspicion sets in… What really is the truth about their mission?

The crew become paranoid and agitated, and things go from bad to worse. They realise they are not alone on the ship, and it soon becomes apparent that the mysterious stowaway might not be altogether human.

Mixing sleek 2001-style visuals with Event Horizon’s nerve-shredding terror, 400 Days is a space thriller you don’t want to miss. Recalling space mission gone wrong films like Dark Star and Capricorn One, 400 Days is a tense and twisty ride into the outer limits.

The set up is irresistible – a group of astronauts unravel when their simulation goes out of control. Within the claustrophobic confines of the space capsule simulator the would-be astronauts are pushed to breaking point and beyond as their mock mission turns into a nightmarish endurance test. It’s like Stanley Kubrick directing a sci-fi version of Big Brother.

The heavyweight cast combined with superb set design, and Osterman’s direction wringing every last drop of tension out of the unique plot, make 400 Days a film experience like no other. Fans of box office smash hits Gravity, Interstellar and The Martian will be certain to find 400 Days out of this world.
