Conjuring 2 comes into your home
Step into one of the most famous cases in British supernatural history with The Conjuring 2 out now. Acclaimed genre director, James Wan, returns for one of 2016’s most suspenseful films – another chilling chapter from the Warren case files set in 1977 Enfield, North London.
Reprising their roles, Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel) and Patrick Wilson (the Insidious films), star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
Rounding out the cast are Frances O’Connor (The Missing) as the single mom, with Madison Wolfe (Zoo) and newcomers Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley and Benjamin Haigh as her children; Maria Doyle Kennedy (Orphan Black); Simon Delaney, Franka Potente (The Bridge); and Simon McBurney (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation).
In addition to directing the film, Wan wrote the screenplay with Carey Hayes & Chad Hayes, and David Leslie Johnson. Collaborating with Wan behind-the-scenes is Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess.
Both DVD and Blu-ray come with tons of extras including several deleted scenes and some brilliant features. The Enfield Poltergeist: Living The Horror deals with the reality of the film whereas The Conjuring 2: Hollywood’s Haunted Stage, Creating Crooked, Crafting The Conjuring 2 and Sounds of Scary all take you behind the scenes in making the movies. Filled with interviews with cast and crew and exclusive clips it’s a must have for fans of the film.
