Ayvianna Snow Takes on a Lead Role in Michael Fausti’s ‘Video Shop Tales of Terror’

Video Shop Tales of Terror

The talented Ayvianna Snow, known for her standout performances in LOLA, White Colour Black, Black Lake, and more, is taking on a new challenge as the lead in Michael Fausti’s latest horror anthology, Video Shop Tales of Terror. This new film brings together some of the best independent horror talents in Britain and is sure to become a cult classic.

In Video Shop Tales of Terror, Snow plays Ilsa Lall, an unwilling participant in “Operation Vergessen”. The film follows a sinister video rental store that serves as a portal into six individual tales of terror, including “Vergessen.” In this tale, a group of women find themselves trafficked to a Nazi brothel that doubles as a honeytrap to blackmail the rich and powerful. When the opportunity to escape presents itself, Snow’s character joins her fellow captives in seeking revenge on their tormentors.

Inspired by notorious European Arthouse Films from the 1970s, such as “The Night Porter” and “Salon Kitty,” Video Shop Tales of Terror promises to be a provocative, satirical, and terrifying journey. Snow joins horror royalty Laurence R. Harvey and Scream Queen Dani Thompson in this film that tackles the often-overlooked experiences of women during World War II.

“I am so excited to be working on this film alongside so many amazing genre filmmakers,” says Snow. “This film means a lot to me, and I feel that women’s wartime stories deserve to be told.”

Fans of Snow’s dark side will be pleased to know that she will be returning for Video Shop Tales of Terror II: Lust & Revenge, set for production in Q1 2023, as well as playing the lead in Michael Fausti’s upcoming film, Burnt Flowers, due for release in 2024.

Video Shop Tales of Terror screens at the Romford Horror Festival on February 24th. Get ready for a hair-raising experience!
